Hidup bahagia di kampung

Title: “Hidup yang Bahagia” Verse 1: I left the oil rig far behind, Returned to hills and sky so kind. I plant my bitter gourds with care, No riches now—but peace is there. Chorus: Simple life… peaceful heart, No more rush, no need to strive. Though my earnings may be small, Joy and calm—I've found it all. Verse 2: The breeze that blows through fields at dawn, The birds that sing, the fears now gone. No city lights, no sleepless nights, Just stars above and soft moonlight. Chorus: Simple life… peaceful heart, Free from greed and free from pride. Though the world may chase for more, I have found my inner shore.

Pantai Geting Berbisik

Jalan dibuka, zon dibina, Impian ekonomi mula menyala. Namun wahai anak bumi Tumpat, Ingat akarmu, ingat laut yang dekat. Jangan hilang suara burung camar, Dalam gema konkrit dan cahaya neon bersinar. Biarlah pembangunan mendukung insan, Bukan memusnah, bukan menelan. Biarlah pelancong kenal budaya, Bukan sekadar hotel dan belanja. Pantai Geting, kau tetap ku rindu, Meski wajahmu berubah waktu.

Long lost friend

In the hush of dawn, where the river breathes, And the fan hums soft like whispered leaves, There sits a soul with stories deep, Who walks with peace while others sleep. Cats at rest, the duck nearby, The forest listens, the birds don’t lie. Time moves slow where hearts are kind, And memory lives not just in mind. Bro, you are the morning light— Quiet, steady, calmly bright. A friend unseen but always near, In every verse, I hold you dear.

River bank journal

Riverbank Journal – A Morning of Stillness and Life The morning light stretches gently across the riverbank, where silence is never empty—it’s filled with presence. By the water’s edge, the ruff—a quiet and watchful bird—moves with care. She has been here long, long before the duck ever came. Her steps are slow, her beak searching among the pebbles. She does not need company, only space and stillness. Nearby, a flock of burung wok wok stand tall and alert. Their pale feathers glow softly in the morning light. They move with grace, pausing, stalking, then striking at tiny fish that swim near the bank. They speak only in soft echoes. Above them, a stork glides down from the sea breeze, flying from the distant beach to follow the course of the river. Though common in Kelantan, its arrival always carries a quiet wonder, like the sky itself has bent low to greet the earth. In the grass, a flock of sheep wander in and out, unhurried. Their hooves tap gently on the ground. They are not t...

Bye bye

A Quiet Friend by the River She came without a name, a quiet soul by the riverbank. No fence, no cage—just trust. She stayed through mornings and still evenings, eating only amaranth, waiting without asking, resting at the pillar as if she belonged. I watched her come and go, never asking why. Today, she left quietly— no splash, no sound. Just a space by the river and a silence I recognize. Maybe she’s gone for good. Maybe not. But I’m thankful she came, and that for a while, we shared the same peace.

Nature friend

A Visit from a Friend Each morning, she comes—not because I call her, but because she chooses to. She is  free and untethered, finds her way to my riverbank, spends a little time here, then returns to the place she calls home. That is her nature.  There are no fences between us, no conditions. Just quiet visits, quiet presence. She knows she is welcome, and I know she is free. In this small, everyday rhythm, I am reminded: real connection doesn’t cling. It allows space. It trusts. And it cherishes the moment, however brief.

Simfoni burung liar

Kadangkala saya berfikir—kita manusia terlalu sibuk mencari erti, sedang makhluk lain ha...

Bisikan

Whispers by the Riverbank By the quiet river, life unfolds gently. Sheep graze where the grass grows thick and green,  brought by a silent farmer— a man   from  neighbor ing country, who walks the land like one who knows its stories. The wok wok birds call in the distance, a lone ruff moves with quiet grace, and under the water's calm, fish glide like forgotten dreams. The river flows on, carrying the weight of memory but never burdened by it. It remembers the great flood, the stillness after, and the small kindness of those who watched and waited. Even now, as I sip my morning coffee, the breeze carries old songs. I listen. And in that moment, I, too, become part of the river's remembering.

Teratai putih

Let be a pure white lotus, Unfolding in muddy  stream. Let all the gloom and misery Be gathered in my sweet dream                      Let the petals open slowly, Bathed in dawn’s forgiving gleam. May hate dissolve and sorrow fade, Like shadows passing in a dream.  Rooted deep in muddy waters, Yet untouched by all unclean, The lotus stands in silence bright— A symbol of what might have been.

Taman Sri Bayu 2

Taman Sri Bayu: Where the River Meets the Sea In Taman Sri Bayu, the mornings begin with the soft hush of waves meeting river breath. The sun rises gently over the mangroves, casting gold upon the quiet waters of Sungai Golok. Fishermen pass in slow boats, their shadows dancing on the tide- and the sea, always waiting, listens in stillness. Here, the land holds stories in silence: of floods that came and went, of birds nesting in the reeds, of children fishing by the shore, of cats wandering freely under the moon. Between the river and the sea, life flows—not in haste, but in harmony. Here, even the wind seems to chant a verse, and the trees bow gently, as if in loving reverence. Taman Sri Bayu is not just a place. It is a breath. A memory. A quiet  nature  in the wind.

My mom

She walked the paddy, sun on her skin, Guided small hands as work would begin. With quiet strength and a heart so wide, She taught through love, not only by guide. Her voice was soft, her will was strong, In her care,  we  learned right from wrong.

Who am I

I sit by the river, quiet and free, A friend to the duck, the fish, and the tree. I chant not for show, but for peace of mind, In silence, life’s truths I slowly find. No net, no rod, yet I still catch— Wisdom flowing without a match. Who am I?

A leaf Falls

A Leaf Falls No wind, yet a leaf falls slow, Not in haste, just letting go. No sorrow, no need to cling— Even falling is a sacred thing.

Pantun Seloka Derita

 1. Luka Masih Berdarah Bunga mawar berduri tajam, Disentuh duri  berdarah jari. Kenangan lama datang bertandang, Belajar maafkan diri sendiri. Air tenang jangan disangka, Dalam diam ada buaya Tenangkan hati redakan luka, Maaf diberi, ingatan masih ada. Mentari pagi bersinar cerah, Embun hilang disinar cahaya. Luka sembuh hilang kisah Derita di hati hilang tiada.
